Yes, we accept entries from independent acts and dance schools/studios.

The closing date is 28 days before the event however Heats usually sell out fast so we recommend booking at least 3 months in advance!

Your choice of music must be submitted on your Dance Genie account at least 2 weeks before the event.

No, dancers and spectators get wristbands at registration on the event day.

Spectator tickets will be available from the venue box office or a ticketbud link. Links will be emailed to registered dancers 2-4 weeks before an event.

The class is taught all ages together but we award a junior (14 years & under) and senior (15 years +) winner! 

You need to arrive at the venue at least 90 minutes before you compete.

We recommend going backstage at least 10 entry numbers before your act. 

They will be updated to your Dance Genie account within 48 hours after the event.

We hold two awards ceremonies per event day. One takes place late afternoon and includes all solos and mini duets, trios and groups. The other award ceremony takes place at the end of the event day and includes all other duet, trio, groups and special awards.
